Southwark Firm Leads Fastest Growing Small Businesses In Britainís Inner Cities.
River Pro Audio, the industry's best known supplier of CD-R/DVD-R media and duplication equipment, has been named one of the fastest growing businesses in inner cities in Britain at the second annual Inner City 100. This prestigious small business awards has been dubbed ‘The Enterprise Oscars’ by the Chancellor Gordon Brown.
The inner city 100 was founded by the New Economics Foundation and is the only index showing the fastest growing businesses in Britain’s most deprived inner city areas. The inaugural Inner City 100 marked a turning point in understanding the economic potential in the UK’s distressed urban areas, revealing how entrepreneurs and their often local workforce are leading the regeneration of Britain’s inner cities.
Managing Director Joel Monger, building on previous business successes with managing Turnkey and Bill Lewingtons, has been able to create the fastest growing company of it’s kind with River Pro Audio. The River Group started as River Studio’s seventeen years ago, recording clients such as Bush, Idlewild and Oasis. Since then River Pro Audio has grown through the years to offer a wide range of professional audio hardware and CD & DVD consumables.
The company’s ability to fulfil mail order, with efficient delivery, not only to UK customers but world-wide has proven a valued service. The On-line shop and catalogue has also been a fantastic resource. This has allowed River to always maintain competitive pricing and offer the very latest products. The partnership with M-Tech manufacturing has brought duplication excellence to the industry, supplying amongst many others the Metropolitan Police, The BBC & County Councils. River’s range of media has been a key part of the company’s success. “Unbranded media is essential not only to duplication houses but across the board, from Record companies to all businesses taking advantage of the technology of today. What we have done with River is to maintain the confidence and quality of branded media in our own unbranded products. For example, all our bulk CD-Rs are manufactured exactly to our own specification. We know what our clients are looking for in our products and we then tailor them to meet their needs.”
Joel also feels that the company’s success is based on the knowledge of the whole River team and their unique approach to their customers. “Many of our customers value our advice and expertise. I find this is even more relevant with the emergence of DVD-R and the new wave of high-density media such as Blu-Ray. River has been developed to only supply high quality products at highly competitive prices, and the formula’s working.”
River will not be resting on its laurels, and many new product
lines and expansions are in the pipeline. So look forward to exciting new
developments in the field of Pro Audio, media and duplication systems spearheaded
by River Pro Audio.
River Pro Audio would like to thank all its customers for their continued support.
